Perhaps one of the first characters I ever created, Sinith has gone through many redesigns over his many years of existence. He is my only characters that predates the lore he resides in to such an extent. He also predates his own species as the Tyraneons were made to give Sinith something to identify under. Despite his age as a made character, it wasn’t until the story Notorious did he really get fleshed out as a character.
Sinith’s character revolves around strength in the sense of his might in battle and his compassion for others alike. Though it took time in his life to understand, Sinith learned to be strong for others. He is as gentle for a small helpless bunny as he is fearsome against any imposing foe.
Sinith’s design is complex but orderly with sharp spikes running down his neck to industrial style heavy armor coating his body. I wanted him to look imposing, cool, and reptilian, but without looking the humanity we look for in a character. I wanted his face to still be fully expressive when needed. Long arms and short legs give him a low center of gravity and a dangerously long reach in combat. Aided by his heavy tail, Sinith is a force that simply refuses to be knocked down. Tyraneons are also perfectly at home traversing on all fours, much like a large lizard, but they rarely do it now that they’ve reached a more civilized point in their evolution.
