Kiarha is one of my earliest character designs. While she has been redesigned many times over the years, her core color pallet and look has stayed around the same. Her design has improved alongside my understand of art and character design. While she towers over most she meets, Kiarha is very careful and courteous wanting to ber everyone’s friend almost to a fault.
Her design is meant to be elegant and soft. Outside of teeth and claws, Kiarha lacks traditional dragon features like horns, spikes, and sharp scales. This is to make her a more friendly. Kiarha is a very warm and welcoming personality and these design choices help enforce that behavior. While she prefers to be kind and sweet, there is a breaking point in everyone and Kiarha is given just enough grit in her design to sell the idea of something powerful. Her body can light up a bright blue with channeled energy that can result in dazzling yet destructive attacks.
