Neli Fei is an Aquelan engineer, specializing in amphibious space crafts. She is the first drawn representation of the species, the Aquela. A species of aquatic life that was the first to reach advanced intelligence in their galaxy.
Living on a planet that’s surface is more than 93% water, much of their societies are established underwater. The Aquela’s are a design mixture of rays, squids, and dolphins. I gave them versatile arms to give them an alien lokk, but maintain their dexterous nature. Their attire is usually simple, suited for living between water and dry land.
