An ancient yet sophisticated species of unknown origin. Many calls them the Watchers, stemming from the ominous red eye that glows from their faces. Little is seen of the real things. They prefer to fight wars using their mutant abominations. Scientists at heart, the Watchers combine the DNA of other lifeforms with their own, creating a variety of Thrall at their command. This mass production style of combat has proven fruitful over their millennia of conquest.
The Watchers take a body horror type of theme. They’re fleshy, but armored, taking inspiration from crustations, but their designs are always eerily human in nature. They paint a disturbing possibility for humanity thousands of years into the future.
